Boiling point: The same old Oscars

Every year around this time is it for me, a lot of vitriol, venom and curses to the Academy Awardsspew custom become. Some of my most disgusting diatribes on the surface of the Oscars were - brought Juno is still a bunch of shit.

Since weeks has the mentioned King's speech as the leader to win many of the major awards - on and it did. Magazines such as entertainment weekly ran headlines such as "can anyone beat Colin Firth?" No one could.

This is because the King's speech, that is good? Colin Firth, that untouchable? Entertainment Weekly just that damn good prediction stuff? No, no, and. The Oscars are just as predictable. And boring. And old.

Some movies are only "Academy films" and this is bullshit. Why should the members of the Academy reward always the same types of movies? The best of the year - not necessarily the best drama or the best sad movie or preferably something specific you want to reward the Academy Awards. You will to the best films reward period.

Is the great King's speech? Safely. But it is the biggest movie of the year? You should to something more popular gone as Foundation? Close, was not so good. But in many years earlier good, nay, great films been overlooked because you don't "Academy films." I speak not of Transformers 2: revenge of the fallen or commando or Friday the 13th part 5. These are fine films, but no one best would claim of the year —, although you may have been the most interesting of the year.

I'm not talking to say, alien, aliens, or the thing. Ridiculously good movies. The thing is on my favorite movies of all time and one that I Express in this conversation. Alien as well as. These are the two genre films that only, from beginning to end, excellent, traded, and receive made of this. Why are you not always viable candidates for the best film? The really less a candidate is thing, as does not have a retard, the opportunities to overcome?

Anyway, I've said this before. You have ever heard that. Well, she wanted to be the Dark Knight, best film two years ago. I did not know, but hey, I would appreciate the nod go to a non-traditional kind of film. It seems that in the past, I know not, forever, movies either dark, Ernst, pretentious, quirky, boring or see all of you out for an Academy Award had to be some hellish mixture.

Everything I say is this: why can not win fun film once a while? Or a genre picture?

Again, it is not best drama. It is the best image. No reservations. So listen to Oscar, let's nominate you some worthy images, need not mentally handicapped protagonist or intoxicating human drama to.  It is not that these films are not good or worthy, it is only that every year I past go a King's speech WINS at my boiling point. I mean, hell, we have a shit nominations of ton of available now, so let's give love, some genre flicks.
