In the future, your body which is 'Transcendental man'-trailer to merge

Ray Kurzweil believes that by the year 2030, machines will have achieved something of a consciousness, and the distinction between man and robot intelligence will be almost impossible. This is not the Logline for a science fiction thriller or a gimmicky jeopardy! Look. It is the honest belief of an incredibly intelligent inventor, technophile and ordinary vitamin Popper.

You have to keep your body strong, if you want to live forever.

Yes, indeed, with his faith, the people may someday live forever by merging with machines (and with nanobots to swim within our blood), Kurzweil seems pretty out there.

The new trailer for transcendental man - a film about the Kurzweil and his ideas - seems as well as out there. Fortunately, it seems also at least mild fair-handed in contrast to the most documentaries these days.

Check it out at check it out for yourself, and hurry. Not for ever, go live, you know:

Shatner!

It doesn't matter which side of the debate, you fall on, or whether you can select a page at this point, this seems like terribly compelling subject. Technology, seems natural be accelerated. We are encouraged, learn, and must now so quickly, and you get only faster.

Crack pot or correct, the possibilities of a new era is Kurzweil staff. Time will tell it right or wrong, but what he's prediction is pretty damn amazing.

The film was directed by Barry Ptolemy (who has a pseudonym, right?) and has talking heads like Wired Editor Kevin Kelly, Metcalfesches law, Colin Powell and 3Com founder Robert Metcalfe, Segway inventor Dean Kamen and much more. It also has to music of iconic composer Phillip glass.

Transcendent man is available on iTunes starting tomorrow, March 1.

What do you think?
